Accreditation in Kentucky

For parents interested in preschool accreditation, quality Kentucky programs can obtain two types:

1. NAEYC (the National Association of Education of Young Children) accreditation
2. State accreditation through STARS for Kids Now.  This is a voluntary state accreditation program that is based on a 4 Star Rating System.  This provider search page has all licensed programs in the state, but you can use qualifiers to only search for STAR-rated programs.

Both of these accreditation sites have search pages on their website where you can look in your city for accredited programs.
