In Kentucky, you need to send in a "Letter of Intent to Homeschool" to your district within two weeks of the start of the public school year.

Maintain grades for your student.
It is recommended that you also keep examples of your child's work. You must teach reading, writing, spelling, grammar, history, mathematics, and civics for a minimum of 170 instructional days.
