Homeschool hybrids & Cottage Schools
Homeschool hybrids and cottage schools are a mix between homeschooling and private school. The hybrid homeschool co-ops usually require students to attend class from 8:30 to 3:30 two or three days a week. The hybrid school teaches concepts and sends assignment sheets home for reinforcement on each subject. The cost of a program like this is usually less than half of a private school. In addition to tuition, parents are also required to buy uniforms and books.
