- EKU Center for the Arts-- Located on Richmond on Eastern Kentucky University's campus, the center offers theater for all ages and often hosts school groups. In addition to visiting, you can often download a study guide that corresponds to the show that you watched!
- The Headley-Whitney Museum--Focuses on decorative arts and offers workshops to children and adults alike!
- Lexington Ballet
- Lexington Children's Theater--Great children's productions! Visit (OR TRY OUT FOR A PART) today! Workshops, classes, and camps are also available.
- Lexington Opera House
- Lexington Philharmonic Discovery Series--Gives students a chance to attend a professional orchestra performance
- Lexington Philharmonic PB & J Series--A musical journey through children's stories and musical ensembles
- Living Arts & Science Center-- Located in downtown Lexington, LASC offers classes, art exhibits, Discovery Night programs, performances and workshops with local musicians, and even offers Wonders on Wheels, a mobile unit that brings the fun to you! Look for LASC to expand soon with a planetarium, a digital media studio, a teaching kitchen, clay studio, and more!

- Ashland: The Henry Clay Estate--Take a mansion, holiday or tree tour at the home of this great statesman

- Cincinnati Museum Center-- Located in (as you guessed it) Cincinnati, we had trouble figuring out what category to place this attraction. It holds several different science and history museums as well as an Omnimax theater and rotating exhibits. For more info, see their web site.
- Frazier History Museum--Located in Louisville, rotating and permanent exhibits
- Georgetown & Scott County Museum--Located in Georgetown, KY, brings the past of Scott County to life
- The Hunt Morgan Home--Visit this federal style antebellum home to see early Kentucky furniture, antique porcelain, 19th century paintings, as well as a civil war museum

- Bluegrass Aviation Museum-- Over 25,000 feet of indoor showroom, plus airplanes outside, it also displays traveling exhibits throughout the year.

- Kentucky Science Center in Louisville

- Newport Aquarium--Located in Newport, KY, near Cincinnati, organized school trips available as well as specialized homeschool days
- Newton's Attic--Located near Keeneland, this business is a physics playground! Schedule a school field trip, attend after school sessions or summer camps. Launch a rocket, ride a roller coaster, build a robot. The possibilities are limited only by your imagination (and the laws of physics)

- FoodChain-- Check out this local hydroponics farm that produces food for area vendors.
- JIF Peanut Butter Plant--A great field trip, but very hard to book! Currently I have no leads on how to make this happen.
