Climb through the tunnels and bridges in the three-story woods, travel back in time in our immersive ice age exhibit and step aboard a replica of the 94-foot steamboat, the Queen of the West. During the June through September Free Fridays, explore Treasures of Our Military Past. Through uniforms, weaponry, medical instruments, supplies, photographs and documents, the exhibit honors the courage and sacrifice of men and women who served our nation for over two centuries. Such military efforts include campaigns launched from Fort Washington, the War of 1812, the Mexican-American War, Civil War, both World Wars and post-World War II military action in Korea, Vietnam, the Cold War and more recent conflicts. |
Free Fridays include special programming, extended hours and FREE admission to all three Museums.
