Meeting Place: Weather permitting, Funtopia playground or Freeman Lake
Meeting Days:
  Wednesdays at 2 PM

Applicable Grades: All
Approximate Tuition and Fees: FREE

This is more of a local homeschool meet-up rather than a co-op. Weather permitting we meet at either Funtopia playground or Freeman Lake. The younger kids play on the playground, the teens sit together at a picnic table and play board games & just talk together. The parents meet at another picnic table and just sit and visit. So it is more of a "meet-up" than a "Co-op". But I still wanted to let everyone know about it  My kids have made great friends and I love being able to talk with all the Moms. Hope you will join us if you're in our area.

Whitely, Knox, Laurel Counties
Freedom Homeschool Co-Op has families from London, Corbin, Williamsburg, Barbourville and surrounding areas in southeastern Kentucky. FREE to join. Event-based. Anyone can create an event and invite other families to join them.
One of our goals is to capitalize on group discounts.
We've held painting classes and had park play dates. We've done STEM events in partnership with local libraries and worked with local extension offices. We've also hosted a "beach" day at the spillway in Corbin, a Christmas party, Valentine's party, and a Masquerade Ball, plus we're gearing up for an Easter egg hunt in March. So much more to come!
